Marriage and Easter?
Marriage and Easter may not seem related, but they actually have a deep connection.

Without Easter and the hope it brings, marriages would lack a very important source of strength. So let's talk about how having faith, especially during Easter, can make your marriage stronger and bring renewed hope and a deeper connection to your marriage.

Easter is a time when many people of the Christian faith come together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As a married couple, sharing a common faith is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen your relationship, deepen your connection, and find hope and meaning in the challenges of life.

One of the most important ways faith can impact a marriage is by providing a sense of purpose and shared values. When a husband and wife believe in Christ, they can find comfort and guidance in difficult times, allowing them to work together to overcome obstacles with a sense of mutual support and understanding. This sense of shared purpose and faith can be significant during Easter. By coming together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, couples can reflect on the significance of love, sacrifice, and renewal in their own lives and relationships.

For example, couples who pray together, attend church services together, and participate in spiritual practices together often report higher levels of satisfaction and intimacy in their relationships.

Finally, faith can also provide hope and optimism for the future, even in the face of challenging circumstances.

For couples struggling with infertility, financial difficulties, health problems, or other challenges, the message of Easter is a powerful source of comfort and inspiration.

The Message of Easter.

  1. The message of Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s the cornerstone of the Christian faith. The absence of the resurrection would challenge the very foundations of the Christian faith, calling into question the divinity of Jesus, the promise of eternal life, and the truth of the Gospel accounts. But Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ did rise from the dead, and because He lives, we can face tomorrow.

  2. The message of Easter is also a time for the renewal of faith. Through prayer, worship, and reflection, Christians can deepen their understanding of the significance of Jesus’ resurrection and how it impacts their lives. Many churches offer special services and programs during Easter to help people connect with their faith.

  3. The message of Easter celebrates new life and hope. The resurrection of Jesus represents the triumph of life over death and the promise of eternal life. This message of hope and renewal is available to anyone who receives the message of the Gospel. “But as many, as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” John 1:12.
No matter your difficulty or struggle, Christ can make a difference in your life and marriage. So, if you have not given your life to Christ, do it now. He is one prayer away. Then your identity will change to that of a child of God. My first book, Courageous Prayer Journal, is designed to inspire men to discover their identity in Christ, grow in faith, and learn how to live a victorious Christian life.

As you have read, having faith in your marriage during Easter is very critical. But hopefully not just during Easter but throughout the year.

When couples share a common faith in Jesus Christ, they can strengthen their relationship and find hope, support, and a sense of purpose together. Couples can also celebrate their faith and belief in Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!
